Ryan & Kelly home from Myrtle Beach ....

I've been looking forward to this week for several months. Ryan and Kelly came home from Myrtle Beach for a week in between Ryan's Summer/Fall school break from San Diego Golf Acadamy. I took the opportunity to add their smiling faces on the new "READ" posters. Kelly is reading "twilight" by Stephenie Meyer and Ryan is traveling with his favorites "The Story of Golf" by George Peper and "Decisions on The Rules of Golf 2008-2009" by US Golf Association.

Exploring Blog Gadgets ...

I have admired many of the CML learn and play blogs over the past few weeks and have been attempting to add a slideshow to my blog. Tonight I came close with a Flickr badge .. but still not the same. Being persistent I will keep trying.

Hyperlinked Aug 12th with Michael Stephens @ CML

I enjoyed Michael's presentation today! I really liked the slide which outlined "The Conversation" -- which provides a great visual of people, conversations, communities and social networking. My favorite comments from his session included "throw out the world of perfection" and "create a culture of trust". I also appreciated his closing comments and advise to the audience ...
Learn to learn
Adapt to change
Scan the horizon
Be curious
Bring your heart with you ....

Thank you Michael Stephens for visiting us at CML

July 28th -- The Beginning....

Hello ...
First of all ... "THANK YOU" to Gerald and the project team for "Learn & Play" coming to CML !!! Your efforts and contributions are making a huge difference for our staff and customers. So with a little encouragement from the team ... I hopefully have created my first blog! I have lots to learn and look forward to expanding my "techie" skills through this experience.

Have fun learning!
